Immediately after that I started my residency in Veterinary Surgery in University of Tehran. I was graduated in 2007 as a first female veterinary surgeon in Iran. I have started my responsibilities as a clinical faculty in Azad University at 2008. Initially I focused on noninvasive surgeries, but after 3 years I switched to study and increase my experience in the field of small animal dentistry by attending different courses, training hospitals and universities in the USA and Europe. Currently I am working in University as an associated professor and lecturer in small animal surgery. Also meanwhile I am practicing small animal dentistry in Tehran Pet Hospital which is the largest and busiest private hospital in Tehran. I am very glad to have the opportunity to educate the owners regarding oral and dental hygiene in pets and diagnosing and applying treatment on dental problems in small animals. I also have the chance to design and implement several research studies in dental pain management, root canal treatment and vital pulp therapies in dogs.
