Orthodontics
This workshop is designed for students cognizant of the basis of orthodontic movements, that would like to learn more about brackets and buttons with elastic chains, spring loaded appliances as well as universal screws. These techniques are commonly used to correct mesioversed or lance maxillary canine teeth and rostral cross bites.
This presentation will review the list of equipment required to perform those techniques. It will also teach the student how to create the appliances, how to monitor them, how long to leave them in, and how to deal with complications.
At the end of this workshop the student should be able to successfully treat a rostral cross bite, a mesioversed maxillary canine or even a buccoversed mandibular canine.
