Amelia graduated ‘cum laude’ from the University of Veterinary Medicine, Budapest in 2016. Upon graduating, Amelia joined a busy mixed practice on the Welsh borders and subsequently spent the following four years in equine practice, where she developed a large dental caseload. In 2022, Amelia embarked on a residency in equine dentistry in with the University of Nottingham and Pool House Equine Hospital. Amelia has also gained her RCVS Certificate in Equine Soft Tissue Surgery through the University of Liverpool and is due to sit her synoptic examination for a Certificate in Equine Dentistry later this year. Amelia contributes to both theoretical and practical final year teaching at Nottingham University’s School of Veterinary Medicine and Science on the subject of equine dentistry. She is currently undertaking Master’s research in the field of equine dentistry. Her specific interests include dental pain behaviours and periodontal disease.
