Veterinary Surgeon

Prof PM Dixon is a graduate of University College Dublin. later obtaining a PhD on equine respiratory disease at The University of Edinburgh, where he has worked for most of his professional life, and where he is currently Professor of Equine Surgery. His main clinical and research interests have been on equine dental disorders and upper respiratory surgery and he had published about 250 peer-reviewed papers on thes topics and also has lectured and tutored extensively on these on these areas around the world. He is Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Specialist in Equine Soft Tissue Surgery, a European Specialist in Equine Dentistry and a Fellow of The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
