The European Veterinary Dental society after many years of discussion has finally changed to a foundation. Our aims are the same but we now have a board of trustees that will take the EVDF forward to the future.

Formation of the EVDS
The European veterinary dental society was formed on 29th September 1992 in Italy

First EVDS Congress
The first EVDS congress was held in Berlin October 1993
April 1998
EVDC Formed
The European Board of Veterinary Specialisation accepted the application for provisional recognition of the European Veterinary Dental College (EVDC) in April 1998 and the College held its first examinations in Ljubljana, Slovenia, in May that year. The inaugural meeting of the EVDC was held on May 14, 1998, at which stage there were twelve members:

EVDS Congress Cruise
The EVDS Congress was held on a cruise ship.
7th June 2015
EVDS congress becomes EVDF
At a joint meetin between the EVDS and EVDC it was decided that the EVDS congress should become the European Veterinary Dental Forum (EVDF)

EVDS becomes Foundation
At a meeting 12th January the EVDS became the European Foundation for Veterinary Dentistry (EVDF)
