Donation Terms and Conditions

 

1. Donor Information

  • The donor must provide accurate and complete personal details when making a donation (name, contact information, payment details).
  • Personal data will be protected in line with applicable data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR in the European Union).

2. Donation Terms

  • Donations are voluntary and non-refundable, except in cases of error or unauthorized transactions.
  • Donations can be one-time or recurring, depending on the preferences of the donor and the options provided by the EVDF.

3. Use of Donations

  • Donations will be used solely to support the mission and objectives of the European Veterinary Dental Foundation, which may include:
    • Supporting veterinary dental education and research.
    • Organizing conferences, workshops, and other events.
    • Publishing research and guidelines related to veterinary dental care.
    • Improving animal dental health across Europe.
  • EVDF reserves the right to allocate donations in the most effective way to further its mission, unless the donation is earmarked for a specific purpose.

4. Tax Deductions

  • EVDF will provide donors with receipts for donations, which may be used for tax deduction purposes, subject to the donor’s local tax laws.
  • Donors are encouraged to consult with a tax advisor to understand the tax implications of their donation.

5. Donor Recognition

  • EVDF may recognize donors publicly (e.g., on the website or in annual reports) unless the donor requests anonymity.
  • Donors have the option to choose whether or not they wish to remain anonymous at the time of donation.

6. Refund Policy

  • Refunds may only be issued in cases of fraud or technical errors. The donor must contact EVDF within a specific period (e.g., 14 days) if they believe an error has occurred.
  • EVDF reserves the right to review refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

7. Cancellation of Recurring Donations

  • Donors may cancel recurring donations at any time by notifying EVDS or through the donation platform used.
  • Cancellation requests will take effect from the date they are received, and future charges will cease.

8. Legal Compliance

  • Donations to EVDF must comply with all relevant national and international laws.
  • EVDF is a non-profit organization, and donations are used to further its charitable goals.

9. Amendments to Terms and Conditions

  • EVDF reserves the right to modify or update the donation terms and conditions at any time. Donors will be notified of significant changes through the organization’s website or by direct communication.

10. Governing Law

  • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the country in which EVDF is headquartered (likely a European country). Disputes arising from donations will be handled in accordance with these laws.

11. Contact Information

  • Donors may contact EVDF directly for any questions or concerns regarding their donation, including refund requests, updates to personal information, and general inquiries.

12. Third-Party Payment Processors

  • Donations may be processed by third-party payment processors. By making a donation, the donor agrees to the terms of the third-party provider.
